Our family is Catholic, although I was led to believe that my mom's father Herbert Seibel was a convert.  Mom's mother Alice Foley Seibel was from a Catholic Family - her daughter Clara a Catholic Nun with St. Joseph of Carondolet.  Mom's sister Mary also became a nun with St. Joseph of Carondolet, wearing my mother's wedding dress when she took her vows.

Our education was also formed at an early age throug our parish, St. Gabriels, which had Sisters of Mercy.  The Catholic Seminary, St. Joseph's, that both Tom and I attended had Little Sisters of the Poor.
