It may seem odd to have a category of Priests, like somehow I am just categorizing people like buttons or doorknobs. But to my parents and family, the Catholic Church was integral into their lives - the very fabric of their lives. And it was not just going to Mass, it was that these people were also their good friends, and they spent much time together. This is an evolving set of pages. So for right now, it will be a few pictures here and there, and eventually, pictures and letters. You see, some of these friendships spanned decades from ordination through retirement, so it will take me awhile to figure out how to best represent this subject.
Some of the orders of priests have an abbreviation after their name.
Columban - S.S.C.M.E stands for The Missionary Society of St. Columban (Latin: Societas Santi Columbani pro Missionibus ad Exteros)
Maryknoll - MM. Maryknoller Motto. "To those who love God all things work together for good."
Paulist - CSP stands for "Congregation of St. Paul"
Most "diocesan" (parish priests) do not belong to any order except for the diocese they were ordained out of.
